Pooja Phaterpekar

Pooja Phaterpekar is a licensed lawyer and a Patent and Trademark Agent Trainee with Bhole IP Law.
Her practice focuses on patent, trademark, and industrial design prosecution, along with technology landscaping and competitor searches, freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, and IP portfolio development. She regularly drafts and prosecutes patent, trademark, and industrial design applications, prepares responses to examination reports, files Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), and drafts a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing and service agreements.
Prior to joining Bhole IP Law, Pooja practiced intellectual property law in India as a registered lawyer and trademark agent, where her work included patent drafting, trademark prosecution, and industrial design filings.
Pooja also is an executive committee member with Ontario Bar Association’s Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law Section as CPD Liaison.
Pooja holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law and an LL.B. from the University of Mumbai, along with an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Biotechnology, giving her a strong interdisciplinary foundation in both law and science.
